Celebrate the launch of Are You Feeling Blue?, a new solo exhibit by Kristen Freitas, on view from October 30th–November 30th at EventThem Studios. This evening reception invites guests to explore Kristen’s latest collection of fluid acrylic paintings while enjoying light refreshments and casual conversation with the artist.
Are You Feeling Blue? explores the emotional resonance of color through layered, flowing compositions. Kristen’s technique captures rhythm and movement, evoking feelings of calm, introspection, and connection. Her work reflects the beauty found in stillness and the human response to color and form.

About the Artist:
Kristen Freitas is a Newton-based artist and community advocate dedicated to making art accessible to all. She is a member of Atlantic Works Gallery (AWG) and an active organizer of local exhibitions and arts programming.
