Join artist Kristen Freitas for a creative and hands-on Printmaking Workshop designed for artists of all levels. No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.
In this engaging session, Kristen will guide participants through the process of gel plate monoprinting, a fun and accessible form of printmaking that doesn’t require a press. You’ll learn how to layer paints, textures, and stencils to create one-of-a-kind prints bursting with color and character. Each participant will leave with their own set of original prints and a deeper understanding of how to experiment with composition and color.
All materials are provided, including gel plates, paints, papers, brayers, and tools. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in exploring abstract art, color theory, or tactile creative techniques in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Known for her expressive fluid acrylic paintings and commitment to accessible arts education, Kristen’s work explores emotion, rhythm, and the transformative power of color.
