EventThem Studios presents Are You Feeling Blue?, a new exhibit by Kristen Freitas, a multi-disciplinary artist and community advocate based in Newton, MA.
Kristen joined Atlantic Works Gallery (AWG) in 2012 and has since become an integral part of the local arts community — organizing events, fostering creative collaboration, and championing accessible art experiences across Greater Boston.
Artist Statement
“I’m a multi-disciplinary artist who loves capturing moments in time, especially with my current series of fluid acrylic paintings. I explore how different hues interact and how they can dive deep into human emotion. This series captures the rhythmic flow of colors. I want my art to make you pause and really take in the intricate beauty of colors, sparking a genuine connection and emotional reflection.”
