Join us at EventThem Studios for a fun and creative Stained Glass Workshop, kicking off our Sundays at the Studio summer series on June 1st with local artist Kanch by Kolika! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of the Tiffany-style copper foil method and create your own unique stained glass suncatcher. Explore the beauty of color, light, and texture as you design and assemble your piece.

Over the course of three hours, you’ll learn essential techniques such as foiling, burnishing, fluxing, soldering, and applying patina. A variety of pre-cut glass pieces will be provided for you to choose from, allowing you to mix and match to create a truly one-of-a-kind design. While we’ll follow the principles of physics and chemistry in this science-heavy craft, there will be no strict patterns—just space for creativity and exploration. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment!

Safety Note: All necessary safety gear is provided, including masks, eyewear, heat-safe gloves, and finger covers. However, please wear close-toed shoes and cover your arms and legs for protection. No food or drinks are allowed in the workshop for safety reasons. Come get ready to create, have fun, and take home a beautiful 6-8″ stained glass suncatcher!
