SUMMARY:Rave Fashion Show: Call For Designers
DESCRIPTION:Say hello to a brand new experience: a rave fashion show!\nDate of event: May 16\, 2026\, Gallery will be open May 8–May 26\n(Acceptances will be sent out by March 28\, all payment due by April 15)\nTime: Please make sure you have full-day availability. Timeline to come once acceptances are sent out. \nThe concept:\nThis event is to showcase clothing the way it’s meant to be seen. Worn by people having fun!\nWe envision platforms throughout the event space spotlighting looks in action. Soundtracked by a full lineup of DJs\, models will party along with the crowd\, demonstrating the movement of each design in their intended context: a rave! Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase looks right off the dance floor to bring home at the end of the night. An MC will help guide the experience and immerse the audience. \nIt will be a afternoon/night full of local designers\, artists\, and DJ’s all coming together to create a brand new experience for people who love fashion and music. \nWe will be having two fashion shows\, on in the afternoon for more beachwear and casual looks\, and a nighttime show to showcase the more raunchy and fun side of rave/concert clothing. \nWhat does this entail for designers?\nWe are looking for people who are as passionate as we are about fashion and music\, and about showing fashion in a whole new way. Even if you think your clothes may not go with the event- don’t hesitate to apply! you may be surprised! \nFee:\nAccessories designers will have a fee of $75\nClothing Designers/Both will have a fee of $100 \nWhat do you get with this?\nWe will be providing models\, hair and makeup\, photographers and videographers along with edited photographs and video to go with it. We will also have a modeling agent on site to keep things running smooth\, and will be providing a significant amount of marketing. All clothing shown on the runway will be buy off the runway so you will also be able to sell anything that you show during the event. We will also give the opportunity of guests to come in early and get early access to seeing/buying looks. \nFurthermore\, you can keep at least 1-2 looks (more subject to room/mannequin availability) at the gallery to sell\, and replace if it does. (Gallery will take 20%) \nThe gallery will be running from May 8\, 2026–May 26\, 2026. \nYou will be responsible for bringing in and taking down pieces in the gallery. \nWhat do we need from you?\nAll designer acceptances will be sent out by March 28 with the fee being due by April 15. \nOnce acceptances are sent out we will be sending you a document for any information we may need for our social media\, and schedule times to interview all the accepted designers as well. \nWe do also ask that every person accepted repost any posts about this event along with posting at least 2-3 times leading up to the event. The biggest goal of ours is to give everyone as much exposure as we possible can. \nAs this is all about connecting local designers\, artists\, creatives\, etc. if you know of anyone that would want to donate their time as a model\, photographer\, videographer\, hair/makeup artist\, DJ\, or bouncer for the event please let us know. \nSo who are we?\nEventThem: EventThem is a full-service event production\, event planning\, and event management company. Since 2015\, we have produced and partnered on community\, local and national events including concerts\, festivals\, parties\, meetings\, conferences\, fundraisers\, sporting events and more. Proudly located in Somerville and Medford\, MA\, we welcome the challenge of new\, creative ideas for any occasion\, large or small. \nArsenia’s Arts LLC: Arsenia’s Arts is a crochet clothing business started in June 2024\, with every piece made and designed by Arsenia Moraitis. Arsenia recently started The School of Fashion Design Boston and has always had a dream of combining music with fashion and revolutionizing how fashion is shown to and seen by the public. She specializes in rave and custom clothing\, with dreams of making clothing for musicians one day and doing merch collaborations. \nEvent is run by EventThem Studios and Arsenia’s Arts LLC \nFill out our application form here!
